Val opened his first portrait photography studio in 1994. Because of his portrait and business photography quality, service and fast turn around times, Val quickly became a house hold name in South Orange County, California. Val met Stephanie in 2000. At that time, Stephanie focused on running and photographing Val Westover Photography’s weddings. Val & Stephanie traveled internationally presenting and teaching to over 50,000 photographers using Val’s best selling book, “Understanding The Basic Elements Of Photography”. as a guide in their photography bootcamps. Stephanie uses her best selling books “Women Who Rock” and “Leap Of Faith” to inspire others in her photography work and coaching sessions.

Val and Stephanie have 7 children and 4 grandchildren. When not obsessing with their cameras and grandchildren, they enjoy ranch life together in Northern Reno with their Border Collie (Gillie), Karakachan ( Myrtle), Irish Wolfounds (Saoirse, Cú, Fiona, Dúghall, Maeve) and their 3 horses (Liam, Morris, Chip).
